Fireplace Mantle that I created to accomodate the flat screen TV and also blend in with the existing mouldings in the house.

This is the original fireplace.

I mounted the Flatscreen TV to the wood that I attached to the brick. I then covered up the remaining brick with sheetrock so that it can be painted to match the existing walls. Then I created a framework for the mantel.

I covered the Hearth and Surround in Black Granite.

Then I cut and installed the mouldings and trim work.

It takes allot of sanding to make it look really nice when painted!!!!

For me, this is always the fun part. It's almost done and the change is very dramatic.
